Have any of you ever eaten soup every single day for lunch and absolutely loved it?? Well I have.
Howdy, folks! This week was fun filled and also soup filled. La Herman Larson has been a bit down on the health scale. Her sternum has hurt and her stomach has been all discombabulated (I have no idea if that is a real word but…). She is doing better now, but because of that we weren’t allowed to eat with the members all week así que we made veggie soup every day! They were different kinds of soups every day but boy oh boy were they great! We enjoyed them. We have also been eating a lot less and have been feeling 100% lately! EATING HEALTHY WORKS!
We had amazing lessons this week! We have been working on being direct and promising blessings to the people we teach and we truly have seen miracles. We had a lesson with Mirian, the one who is getting BAPTIZED THIS SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and it went so well! Well, we had two lessons and they went just fabulous! They were short and to the point but just jammed packed full of the spirit and doctrine, like a really good peanut butter and homemade strawberry jam filled sandwich made by your mom. SO GOOD! Mirian is SO ready for baptism and she is completely excited! She is reading and praying and coming to church and PARTICIPATING in church! She actually was directing some new investigators on what to do at church this last week.. She i so cool.
Miguel, we showed him the church this week to get him familiar with it all. He was completely amazed at the order and cleanliness of the church. We explained to him how our God is a God of order and schedules. He has it how it should be. It was a very spiritual experience and I really enjoyed showing the church to an investigator. It really opens their eyes.
This week I also have been realizing more and more the importance of having members in our lessons. When a member testifies the spirit is always so strong! And for me they also help me explain the doctrine better seeing as my spanish is still not 100%. MEMBERS ARE KEY! with the two lessons we had with members this week we saw the fruits of working as a team. They are so great!
What I learned about God this week: I learned that when we show faith by praying to him and literally asking in an outloud voice He gives us the peace and blessing we need. Prayer may seem small but it is a huge act of faith. God hears our knee-mails.
2 Nephi 32:8-9
I love you all and so enjoy feeling and seeing your prayers working in the lives the people in my area. Thank you for the everlasting support! Keep the faith and never lose hope. When it gets tough, take heart!
Love is the strongest power and Love is God.
